Ratio EV io7 Twin Socket 7.4kW/22kW EV Charger
The io7 has been specifically designed to enable EV charging in a multitude of environments and can be configured to suit the user’s power availability and charging needs, internet connectivity, lighting requirements and budget.
The io7 is available with both static and dynamic load management systems. Load management of EV charging equipment is designed to maximise charging speeds whilst protecting the electrical installation and building infrastructure.

io7 Sense Load Management (for up to 16 Twin Socket io7)
Static load management of up to five io7s
The software within the io7 allows static load management without additional hardware, providing the io7s are on the same ethernet or WiFi network. During commissioning the primary io7 is identified and will communicate with the secondary io7s to manage the electrical load.
Static load management of six or more io7s
For six or more io7s the io7 Sense Pro is required. For ease of installation and reliability an ethernet connection is recommended, alternatively a WiFi or 4G connection can be used. When connected, the io7 Sense Pro has visibility over all the io7s on the same network; managing energy use across the installation and identifying VIP bays for priority charging.
Dynamic load management of up to five io7s
The addition of the io7 Sense Lite enables dynamic load management of up to five io7s. The Sense Lite is connected into the primary io7 to communicate the building energy use information into the system, this pillar then controls the secondary io7s.
Dynamic load management of six or more io7s
In addition, when dynamic load management is required, the io7 Sense Pro has a simple connection from the building MID meter to directly read the building usage to balance the EV charging usage accordingly.
