Terms and Conditions:

The item must be exactly the same with the identical technical specification and manufacturers product code and have all the manufacturers seals intact. The item must be for sale from a registered UK based Online Electrical Wholesaler . It must be in stock and available for immediate dispatch from within the UK. Products from Ebay, used or are to be dispatched from outside the UK are excluded. Delivery charges are excluded. TOB Electrical is to be advised of the availability of the lower priced item, its product codes, manufacturer and wholesaler details prior to purchasing from TOB Electrical. Providing the above criteria is met in full TOB Electrical. guarantees to refund the difference in price to the same card account as was used to purchase from TOB Electrical.

Delivery Schedule

Our Sales Office is open between 09:00 to 17:00 Monday – Friday. We aim to deliver your order fast – Standard delivery for stock items is usually next working day for orders received on our system prior to 16:00. Orders received after this cut off time and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are dispatched the following working day. Remote / Offshore area’s – please allow 3 – 5 days for delivery.

Back Orders

We pride ourselves on carrying extensive stocks, however, on the rare occasion that your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. We will notify you before we proceed giving you an approximate time scale for the balance of your order. We reserve the right to hold your order until fully complete prior to dispatch, You will be given the option to amend or cancel your order, and in some instances be offered an alternative if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges for orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added.

Credit/Debit Card Security

Our payment service providers are Sage Pay so you can be assured you’re details are safe when ordering on our website. When your order is received through our website credit card numbers are encrypted using 256 bit high grade encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any website.

TOB Electrical does not disclose buyers’ information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfillment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Returns Policy

1. Faulty Products

In the unlikely event the product you receive is faulty you must notify us within 30 days of delivery in order to receive a full refund. Where products develop faults beyond 30 days, you are protected by the Consumer Rights Act 2015. More information on this Act can be found here. We will arrange for the item to be collected from the delivery address or provide details of a Parcel Shop where you so you can drop the parcel off at a convenient time. You must ensure the item is securely packaged. TOB Electrical does not accept  liability for indirect or consequential loss.

2. Non-faulty Goods

If for any reason you’re not happy with your product or simply change your mind you must notify us of this cancellation within 14 days of delivery to receive a refund. We understand you may unpack the item to inspect it before choosing to reject. The item must be complete, with the undamaged manufacturers box, instructions and any ancillaries. However, if you have used it beyond this, this may have an effect on the resale value, in this instance we will offer a partial refund equal to the reduction in value. If the item is unopened and in our original dispatch packaging you will receive a full refund, including the outbound carriage within 14 days of receipt at our warehouse. You are responsible for returning the item(s) and liable for this cost. You must ensure that the manufacturers box is entirely covered and robustly packaged to ensure the item can endure the rigors of the courier network. We recommend your courier has adequate insurance and full tracking information.

 3. Procedure for returning faulty or non-faulty products (or requesting a replacement)

Please contact us direct and have ready the following information:
a) The invoice number
b) The date of purchase
c) The product code(s)
d) The reason for returning the products
We will then instruct on how to proceed. Please do not return any items prior to receiving authorisation as our warehouse address differs from our mailing address.

4. Short or non-delivery

If you experience a short or non delivery, please contact us direct within 3 working days of receipt and have ready the following information:
a) The invoice number
b) The date of purchase
c) The product code(s)
Our advisers will investigate the problem and refer back to you as soon as possible.

Remittance Terms

We accept Visa, Master card and Solo. We also accept Bank Drafts and Personal Cheques, the later must be supported by a valid Cheque Guarantee Card. Cheques received by post from Customers where the value exceeds £200 must be cleared through the normal banking system before the goods are booked out.
